3 Seedlings in 4" Pots

Slicing Tomatoes

$14.95

3 seedlings, each in a 4" pot

GENERAL
Days to Maturity: 65-80 days
Soil: Fertile soil that drains well
Sun & Water: Full sun and lots of water
Pests & Diseases: Keep an eye out for blight and hornworms.

HOW TO GROW
Transplanting: Dig a hole just slightly deeper than the travel pot. Remove the plant from its travel pot. Remove the bottom set of leaves and bury the plant. About 2/3 of the stem should be in the ground and 1/3 should be sticking out. Burying the plant like this allows for deeper root growth, which allows for a bigger and stronger plant!
Spacing: Plant your seedlings 18-24” apart
Support: Use cages or trellising

HARVESTING
When the color of the tomato is even and it is just a tiny bit soft when squeezed, it is ready to be harvested. Gently twist them off the vine or cut leaving a short stem attached.

Varieties May Include: German Johnson, Giant Lemon Ukranian, Copia

Here's what to expect

This purchase includes 3 individual seedlings, each in its own 4" travel pot. When they arrive, unpack them, stand them up, and lightly touch the top of the soil to check the moisture level. Water until the soil is moist but not drenched.

For the first 2 days, let the seedlings acclimate to the sun and fresh air in their travel pots outdoors. Give them 4-6 hours of sunlight and then place them in the shade for the remainder of the day. Check in on your seedlings every day to make sure their soil remains moist. Follow the transplanting instructions above when your seedling is ready for its new home.
